As part of a natural motion study, we were required to analyze and rotoscope a 6 second clip of our choice. The following step was to simplify the body to basic shapes and recreate the motion using color blocking. The rotoscoping was created by drawing over the video clip in Photoshop frame by frame. I also added hatching to give it a more authentic feeling. For the color blocking, shape layers were animated in After Effects using key frames from the rotoscoped video.
