The aim of this photograph was to tell a story through one image. The story it tells is of dinner time for a lonesome girl who longs to be with friends and family. I utilized staged photography with high artificial colors to represent the anxious feeling of eating alone. The use of junk snacks instead of regular food is to communicate the loss in quality when eating alone, as well as to further enhance the artificial feeling.
